Three Services, Each with a Clear Purpose
Inspection, mechanical servicing and strap fitting — chosen for the most common needs of watch owners in Hat Yai and the surrounding region.

How We Work Through Each Service
Each visit to Escapio begins with an initial conversation — in person, by phone or by message — about the watch and what the owner wants to understand or achieve. From that point, the process is the same regardless of service type: we look carefully, record what we find, and communicate before taking any step that wasn't discussed.
Work is booked in order of intake. We don't rush a piece to free up bench space, and we don't add services that weren't requested. When the watch is ready, we contact the owner with a summary before they come to collect.
Intake Assessment
Condition noted on arrival. Owner informed of anything found outside the expected scope before work proceeds.
Bench Work
Carried out by the same technician who assessed the piece. Tools and equipment maintained to a standard that reflects the work.
Verification
Movement servicing includes timing machine checks in six positions. Results documented as part of the service record.
Handover Documentation
Written summary of work completed provided at collection. Timing results included for movement services.
· Service 01 ·
Pre-Owned Inspection
A clear written condition report covering movement health, case integrity and likely service needs. Helpful for buyers and sellers who want an honest, neutral assessment before a private sale.
We examine the movement's running behaviour, winding and setting function, power reserve decay, case and crystal condition, crown and pushers, and any visible bracelet or strap wear. Everything noted is written into a report handed to the client.
- Movement health and running behaviour
- Case, crystal and crown condition
- Likely service needs and estimated timeline
- Written report provided at collection
Typical turnaround: 2–3 working days
· Service 02 ·
Mechanical Movement Service
A full strip-down, cleaning, lubrication and reassembly of a mechanical caliber, followed by timing checks on a calibrating bench. Suited to owners who want a long-serving piece kept running smoothly.
The movement is disassembled to component level, cleaned in an ultrasonic bath with watchmaker-grade fluid, inspected for wear, lubricated with specification-correct products and reassembled. Timing is then checked across six positions on a calibrating machine and the readings are recorded.
- Full caliber disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
- Specification-correct lubrication per component
- Timing machine verification across six positions
- Written service record with timing data
Typical turnaround: 7–14 working days
· Service 03 ·
Strap & Bracelet Fitting
Sizing, link adjustment and fitting of leather, rubber or metal straps, with spring-bar replacement where needed. A short visit that improves comfort and daily wear.
A well-fitted strap isn't just about comfort — an incorrectly tensioned spring bar or a loose-fitting bracelet causes unnecessary wear at the lug junction and increases the chance of accidental loss over time. We check lug width, select the correct spring-bar specification, and fit to a snug, secure result.
- Leather, rubber and metal strap fitting
- Link removal and bracelet sizing
- Spring-bar inspection and replacement
- Owner-supplied straps welcome
Typical turnaround: same day or next working day

Across All Work at the Bench
Secure Custody
Every watch in the workshop is stored in a labelled tray in a locked cabinet. Nothing is left on an unattended bench.
Written Records for Every Job
Condition on intake and work carried out at completion are both documented. A copy is provided to the owner at collection.
No Unrequested Changes
We don't polish, refinish or make modifications that weren't discussed. Owner consent is required for any work beyond what was booked.
Case Protection at Every Stage
Bezels, case flanks and crystals are padded or covered during bench work to avoid incidental contact marks.
Clear Communication
We contact you if anything unexpected is found during a service. Nothing proceeds without your awareness and agreement.
Prices Fixed in Advance
Service prices are stated before work begins. Additional costs are only introduced with your prior knowledge and consent.
